1st Night in TN

Well he made it to Nashville. His first night he spent at a AAA baseball game..It was "Mormon night" and he and 7other missionaries sang the National Anthem.
One of my friends sisters was at the baseball game because she was there visiting her daughter. She knows brad and recognized him. She yelled to him and he came to talk to her. He told her to call his mom and tell us that he made it to TN and he is happy. I just love that kid.. He was so happy "tell my mom I'm ok"

Brad called mom... 3 times.

I got three calls today.. I am out of my head in happiness…. I have cried and smiled for hours.. I just love that kid. He is doing great. He is in the airport in Houston on his way to Nashville. He said he has loved the MTC.. such a spiritual High for him. He also said that he talked a leg off of the flight attendant. He almost gave her a book of mormon ..I don’t know why he didn’t except that it is his only one..I told him no fear I will send many many more. He told me he was going to be a door knocking machine. He wants to fulfill pres. Hinkleys promise. It was so great to talk to him. He sounds much more excited than I anticipated. I just love that kid. Pray for him.. he is going to need it after the first few door slams..

Brad left the MTC today. He made a few phone calls from the airport while he was sitting around on a 3 hour lay over. I know my mom got a call today.. but haven't talked to her yet. I got a call a few minutes ago. I dont know if I just wasn't expecting to hear from him or what but I didn't recognize his voice at all...even after he said this is Brad. It took me a minute. Karlee on the other hand recognized him right away and said Hi! I Love B!! She kissed the phone and talked in her gibberish. It was fun to talk to him for a few short minutes. He is excited and just ready to be there now.
